Most people have heard of Africas Big Five, but in these works I have brought them together with their lesser known brothers in name, the Little Five. Here a young leopard (a two year old named Tyson) watches with interest as a young leopard tortoise wanders past on Karongwe Game Reserve, South Africa.

I was born in Umtata in the Transkei, South Africa, but grew up in England where I gained a first class degree in fine art at the Birmingham Institute of Art and Design. In 2007 I returned to Southern Africa where I travelled and helped with research (and took hundreds of photos) on two game reserves in the Notheren Province of South Africa. Now back in the UK I am applying myself to zoology and painting. Although at the moment I am mainly working on images of African Wildlife I do enjoy drawing and painting other subjects and am available to do commissions.
