This is interesting. The 'pop art' feel of your flower forms (using complementary colour) contrast with the sombre, monotone image in the centre. What inspired this piece?

Thank you for your comments Monique - the monotone image is taken from a photos, drawings and paintings I've made from various derelict barns near where I live and the flowers in the foreground give them life, I suppose. Nothing too deep and meaningful, just old and new, nature 'v' architecture, etc. - many different things make up a landscape and I like to try and mix them up!
