A tech art installation that travels the UK will be set up in Liverpool on 3rd May and will be accessible till 5th May.
The installation is a large dome, surrounded with cameras, taking panoramic pictures of what's around the dome every minute. All the pictures get stored and can be accessed at any time either through the Internet, or from inside the dome, where they can be viewed on screens. The peculiar thing is how the screens show the photographs - they react on the viewer. The closer the viewer moves to the screen, the farther the capture memory recedes. Basically, you see what was on the other side of the screen, a few hours/days ago, depending on how close to the screen you stand. Here's a youtube vid that first caught my interest: [url="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W4WZdLGDtbA"]click{/url] 1 replies to this topic.
