The Turnip Prize.

The ‘Turnip Prize’ 2007, introduced in 1993, is an annual award to a British artist, or any other artist working in Britain, of any age, for an ‘outstanding’ piece of work produced in the previous twelve months. We recognize the ‘Turnip Prize’ as one of the most important and prestigious awards for the visual arts 'in our neck of the woods'. The winner will be announced on 3rd December 2007.
